Ceremony of remembrance Carabiniers-Grenadiers

Sunday 27 September, 2020 from 16:00 to 19:00

The great allied offensive that started on 28 September 1918, ended the first World War. On that day the Belgians, under the command of King Albert I, together with British and French troops, attacked the Germans on the Ypres Salient. The Belgian Carabiniers-Grenadiers invaded and gained control over the ruins of the village of Passchendaele, after heavy fighting. Afterwards the offensive advanced to Moorslede and Roeselare.
Exactly 102 years later their efforts will be remembered at the church of Passchendaele.  More info soon.
