| Two of my Great Great uncles died at the Battle of Passchendaele (Third Ypres). Henry Edwin Mumford on 12 Oct 1917 and Alfred Mumford on 14 Oct 1917. Two of the many New Zealanders who fought on Flanders fields and will always be remembered |

I was in Passchendaele in 2004 and then went to Tyne Cot cemetary. Tyne Cot is a very sad place especially when you read some of the head stones that say, "Known only unto God" Yet the cemetary had a beauty about it |

| The bunker experience is very good, the only thing missing is the, ...rats,flys,water,the stench...and the mud ! What a thought ! Probably the best museum in Flanders, thank you. |
